Payment Policy

1. Payment Timing

• All session and package fees must be paid in advance to confirm your booking.
• Unpaid sessions are not held and may be offered to another client.
• For ongoing therapy clients, future sessions are confirmed only once the current balance is cleared.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

• Payments can be made through the official Attune Somatics payment form (integrated with PayFast).
• For returning clients, direct bank transfers may be accepted with prior approval.
• Cash payments are not accepted to ensure security and documentation.

3. Confirmation of Booking

Once payment is received, you’ll receive:
•  A confirmation email or WhatsApp message with your booking details.
•  A digital invoice or receipt for your records.

4. Packages

• Packages (therapy, TRE, or somatic) must be paid in full before the first session.
• Packages are valid for 3 months from the first session date.
• Packages are non-transferable and non-refundable, though they may be credited toward future sessions if cancellations comply with policy timelines.
• Packages can be upgraded or downgraded after consultation and mutual agreement.

5. Student Access Payments

• Verified students with the Attune Student Card receive reduced-rate payment links specific to their plan.
• Student rates apply only when booking through the designated student payment form

6. Missed or Late Payments

• Late or partial payments delay scheduling and may result in your slot being released.
• Outstanding balances must be cleared before booking additional sessions.

7. Refunds & Credits

• Payments are non-refundable, including packages and single sessions.
• In exceptional circumstances (e.g., therapist unavailability or clinical advisability), the remaining balance may be credited toward future sessions at Attune Somatics.

8. Fee Adjustments

Attune Somatics reviews its pricing annually to reflect training, specialization, and inflation.Clients are informed in advance of any adjustments, and existing packages remain honored at the original rate until completion.

9. Ethical Transparency

All fees, discounts, and payment plans are clearly stated before you commit to a service.
You’ll never be charged for anything not discussed and agreed upon in advance.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

At Attune Somatics, session times are reserved especially for you.
Because each slot requires preparation and cannot be re-allocated on short notice, the following policies help us maintain fairness, structure, and respect for everyone’s time.

1. Cancellations Made in Advance

• Cancellations made at least 24 hours before your scheduled session incur no fee.
• You may reschedule the session within the same week (subject to availability).

2. Late Cancellations & No-Shows

• Cancellations made after 8 p.m. the previous day and up to 5 a.m. on the same day will be charged 50 % of the session rate.
• Same-day cancellations (after 5 a.m.) or no-shows are charged 100 % of the session rate.
This includes last-minute emergencies, illness, weather disruptions, or political unrest.
Online sessions are always available as a flexible alternative in such situations.

3. Two Consecutive Missed Sessions

If two consecutive sessions are missed without notice or communication, your recurring slot may be released to accommodate others.
You’ll be offered an alternate slot later, depending on availability.

4. Rescheduling Options

You may request to move a booked session up to 24 hours in advance via WhatsApp or email.
Rescheduled sessions must fall within the same package validity period (e.g., within 3 months of the first session).

5. Package Validity

All session packages (therapy, somatic, or TRE) are valid for 3 months from the date of your first session.
Unused sessions after that period expire unless otherwise arranged in writing with your therapist.

6. Refund Policy

Session fees and packages are non-refundable.
However, sessions may be credited toward future appointments if cancellation complies with the above timelines and is approved by your therapist.

7. Emergencies & Unexpected Events

We understand that life happens — sudden events, health issues, or academic pressures.
While empathy is part of our practice, boundaries protect both client and therapist.
When in doubt, communicate early; most situations can be accommodated when notice is given.

8. Student Appointments

Reduced-rate student slots follow the same policy.
Because these time blocks are limited, late cancellations or no-shows count toward your package balance.

9. How to Cancel or Reschedule

Please inform your therapist directly via WhatsApp or email as soon as possible.
Cancellations are confirmed only once you receive a reply.

10. Acknowledgment

By confirming or paying for a session/package, you acknowledge that you’ve read and agreed to this policy.
These boundaries create reliability, mutual respect, and the safety needed for consistent therapeutic progress.
